Beware of Charlotte Mecklenburg School systems as they constantly change the school map around Huntersville. If you need more information, go directly to the school system to be sure.
Are property taxes lower than Charlotte?
Yes. You get Mecklenburg County services without the added Charlotte city tax—a major win for relocations. Local tip to consider is that taxes in Mecklenburg County are higher than nearby counties.
